Mapleton Country Markets – Combined Police and Neighbourhood Watch

There will be a combined Police and Neighbourhood Watch marquee at the Mapleton Country Markets on Saturday 22nd May. Police will be in attendance and can offer advice on such things as vehicle and home security and personal safety.

NHWQ on the Sunshine Coast has been successful in building community cohesion and improving relationships between neighbours which assists in reducing crime and the fear of crime. It has a very strong and committed volunteer base and is an internationally well-recognised and established symbol within the community.
